BICYCLE ACCIDENT /PREMISES LIABILITY case against PUBLIC ENTITY for alleged defects in storm drain which plaintiff claimed caused bicycle tire to become wedged in storm drain grate. Case settled against public entity and construction company that installed drain and grate.

BICYCLE accident on CITY PROPERTY in which plaintiff’s tire caught in RAILWAY TRACK, causing her to fall and fracture wrist. City claimed GOVERNMENTAL DESIGN IMMUNITY in placement of BIKE LANE near an unused train track.

BICYCLE ACCIDENT/BRAIN INJURY Settled bicycle accident case in which plaintiff suffered head trauma after being knocked off her bicycle by a utility wire. Claims of TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY and PERMANENT COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT were disputed by defendants.
BICYCLIST v. PEDESTRIAN case in which pedestrian
BICYCLIST v. PEDESTRIAN case in which pedestrian was knocked to the ground on a multi-use path when cyclist passed on the left. Plaintiff suffered head trauma and was positively diagnosed with mild TBI, no loss of consciousness. After rehab and therapy, plaintiff was able to return to her job as a fitness and pilates instructor.
Claim of MILD TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY sustained
Claim of MILD TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY sustained as a result of fall in WHEELCHAIR while plaintiff was being transported in specially equipped transit van. Claimant alleged that van driver improperly secured wheelchair, allowing it to flip backwards on a sharp turn. Claimed injuries include mild cognitive impairment, PTSD, and recurring headache.

COMMERCIAL PREMISES LIABLITY matter in which Plaintiff sustained a TORN MENISCUS when he SLIPPED AND FELL while delivering materials to a warehouse receiving area. Plaintiff claimed that defendant maintained its premises in a manner that was unsafe to OUTSIDE VENDORS.
